Ontario Labour Union, CEP Local 2003 About Us Page

The communities our union members reside in benefit from having more union workers because decent paying jobs mean more spending power which leads to a more prosperous environment for businesses and consequently overall employment within a community benefits.

Union CEP Convention 2006

CEP Local 2003 believes that improving Health and Safety is very important. We go to work each day to earn a living and feed our kids not to get injured or worse, die. Our members deserve a safe workplace. If you are injured or become ill as a result of a workplace accident or illness we offer assistance with WSIB.

Simply put, with a Union and a Collective Agreement you can negotiate anything with your employer, things like job security, job protection, just cause provisions, and you can enforce your rights without fear of retaliation.  Without a Union, you take what they give you.

Our Goal is to improve the lives of our union members and the health of the communities they live in. We service our members’ needs by negotiating good Collective Agreements and enforcing them but also by fighting inequality, fighting discrimination and by fighting for dignity.

We know we make a difference because we negotiate with employers in almost every sector of the economy.

We encourage you to browse around; you may be surprised by what you find. If you have comments or questions about our services, or simply need more information and want to contact us, click on the contact button on the top or bottom of any page.
